If a cat basketball team existed, Percy would be the star! This cat has the perfect build to be a cat basketball star. Have you ever seen such long legs on a kitty? This is one big cat who loves people, but likes to be the boss in the cat room. He may want to be an only child, but as long as he can be the true top guy in the house, he can co-exist with another cat.

Ricky is a recent addition to our shelter. Ricky is a "she" and was found tangled in a shrub near our local Target store by employees. We are not considering her a stray, but as an abandoned animal, apparently dumped in the parking lot. She has been vetted by her rescuer (a Target employee) and is estimated to be 6 years old and spayed. She is a tiny girl and is as sweet as can be. Her rescuer has agreed to foster her, so if you want to meet her, please complete an application at the shelter and we will take it from there.

Ricky and Toby are two buddies looking for a home. Ricky is roughly 2 1/2 and Toby is roughly 5 years old. These two kitties came to Animal Protectors within two weeks of each other and both tested positive for FIV. They are currently hanging out together in a foster home and ,as you can see, have become good pals. They are two of the four cats we recently acquired that are FIV+. Adopting a pair like Ricky and Toby would make their world complete. Adopt one and the other's adoption fee will be waived. Our vet has told us that cats that have FIV can have the same lifespan as any other cat as long as he is kept inside, away from sick cats and has a low stress home. These cats do not require any special medical care or medicines for the FIV and it can only be transmitted to other cats through mating or deep bite wounds. It cannot be transmitted to humans or any other type of animals. If you would like to consider giving this special team a good home, please call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet them. 724-339-7388. They're waiting!

Domestic Short Hair (Black & White)
Teal was found as a local stray not far from our shelter. She was thin and in need of a lot of TLC. She loves attention and has been getting more than her share at the shelter. She has put on weight and has regained her good health. Now all she needs is a new home.
